Mediation

Mediation Scheduling:

Date and time: Call to confirm availablity, and we will block the date for your mediation. We will need the name(s) of all counsel and/or representative(s) of parties, with their FAX and phone numbers. (You may fax this information to (813)-831-7472, or e-mail howard@weberfirm.com) Mediations are scheduled to begin at 9:00AM and 1:00PM, Monday through Friday. If you believe your mediation will last more than three hours, please let us know at the time of booking, so that we can reserve the appropriate amount of time.
Location: We will mediate anywhere in Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, Manatee, Hernando, and Polk Counties. We do not charge for travel time, except to Hernando or Polk Countries, where a 1.0 hour travel charge will apply. Please specify the mediation location as agreed to by all counsel and/or parties.
Confirmation of your mediation: No mediation is officially “scheduled” until our office sends a FAX confirmation to all attorneys and/or party representatives. The FAX confirmation will state the time and place of the mediation, and will set forth our fee and cancellation policy.

Fees:
- $250.00 per hour* for a two party** mediation (a minimum two hour charge applies).
- $100.00 per hour* per party for three party** mediations (a minimum two hour charge applies).
- $75.00 per hour* per party for four of more parties** (a minimum two hour charge applies).
** “party” or “parties” does not include consortium plaintiffs, but does include insurers, represented at the mediation, with excess layers or pro-rata insurance coverage.
Travel Charges: NO TRAVEL TIME IS CHARGED FOR MEDIATIONS.
Cancellation Policy: The two hour minimum mediation fee will be charged for any mediation cancelled less than three (3) business days before the scheduled mediation start time.
